2006 Fleer Baseball Fat pack

I bought this fat pack of 2006 Fleer recently off e-bay. Why? Well it was very cheap, the 2006 Fleer Tradition is one of my favourite recent designs and I hadn't opened any Fleer, other than Tradition, and thought to myself-Why not?.
The Fat Pack:
#8 Garret Anderson Angels
#9 Jarrod Washburn Mariners
#14 Vladimir Guerrero Angels
#39 Nick Swisher Athletics
#40 Rich Harden Athetics
#43 John-Ford Griffin Blue Jays
#58 Anthony Lerew Braves
#65 Mike Hampton Braves
#67 Chuck James Braves
#68 Tim Hudson Braves
#74 Nelson Cruz Brewers
#83 Chris Carpenter Cardinals
#99 Derrek Lee Cubs
#106 Geovany Soto Cubs
#111 Aubrey Huff Bay Rays
#117 Jorge Cantu Bay Rays
#138 Cesar Izturis Dodgers
#142 J.D.Drew Dodgers
#144 Jayson Werth Dodgers
#151 Armando Benitez Giants
#152 Edgardo Alfonzo Angels
#171 Jake Westbrook Indians
#192 Carlos Delgado Mets
#196 Juan Encarnacion Cardinals
#202 Todd Jones Tigers
#206 David Wright Mets
#217 Brad Wilkerson Rangers
#219 Chad Cordero Nationals
#229 Vinny Castilla Padres
#230 B.J.Ryan Blue Jays
#235 Erik Bedard Orioles
#259 Chase Utley Phillies
#260 David Bell Phillies
#264 Danny Sandoval Phillies
#279 Zach Duke Pirates
#288 Laynce Nix Rangers
#289 Mark Teixeria Rangers

#327 J.D Closser Rockies
#332 Angel Berroa Royals
#338 Matt Stairs Royals
#354 Omar Infante Tigers
#363 Johan Santana Twins
#365 Francisco Liriano Twins
#370 Torii Hunter Twins
#372 Aaron Rowand Phillies
#373 Carl Everett Mariners
#T40-3 Albert Pujols Cardinals
#T40-5 Vladimir Guerrero Angels

Well 2 Red Sox from a fat pack of 50 cards is not a great ratio. But I can see the benefits of these packs for the set collectors, however many serious collectors are looking for the hits per square yard. No hits in the Fat packs.

1991 O-Pee-Chee baseball

The 1991 O-Pee-Chee Premier set contained 132 cards.
There were no inserts or parallels.
Each pack contained 7 cards (this pack had 6 cards)
The Pack:
#48 Andres Galarraga Expos
#110 Doug Simons Mets
#118 Pat Tabler Blue Jays

#123 Alan Trammell Tigers

#52 Leo Gomez Orioles

#90 Jose Offerman Dodgers

No Red Sox, however I did pull my mandatory Dodgers card. And what are the odds of pulling two Canadian teams from a Canadian pack?

1994 Flair baseball

The 1994 Flair set consisted of 450 cards, broken into two series of 250 and 200 cards.
It included inserts of 10 Wave of the Future, 10 Outfield Power and 10 Hot numbers in Series 1, 10 Hot Gloves and 10 Infield Power in Series 2.
The most distinctive feature of these cards was the brilliant cardboard packaging that I am surprised that they haven't re-introduced it in some form to deter pack searching.

The packs:
Pack 1:
#11 Scott Cooper Red Sox
#61 Mike Macfarlane Royals
#88 Danny Tartabull Yankees
#121 Dave Stewart Blue Jays
#175 Scott Gervais Astros

I really enjoyed opening these packs. Only 1 Red Sox card, but a few past Red Sox and soon to be Red Sox cards here.
The thick card stock and full bleed pictures make this an attractive and collectable set. I am still completely bowled over by the cardboard boxes each pack is contained in. What bought a halt to this special brand?
