2001 Donruss Studio packs

The 2001 Studio set was the first Donruss brand for 3 years since the demise, through bankruptcy of the previous owners Pinnacle. It was also the first regular set to feature short printed and serial numbered cards. The short base set consists of 150 cards, add 48 Rated Rookies (limited to 2001), 2 Rated Rookie redemptions (limited to 500) and 20 Fan club (limited to 5000) cards to create a  220 card extended base set. There are many, many more limited cards from this set, including the popular Diamond Kings.

2012 Panini Triple Play Box Part 1

I saw these cards quiet a while back and really liked the look of them. I won't go into the details again about my angst  ridden search for these cards. When I did eventually buy them for DandAcards, unable to find a seller over this side of the Atlantic, they cost a little more than I intended. Fast forward a few weeks and there they are available from a seller in Germany. Sods Law once again.

As someone has already pointed out- at least I have 24 packs of cards to open and that is priceless.

I intend to open these 7 card packs in 4 groups of 6 packs, in the hope of not just finding Red Sox but completing the whole set.
There are 90 base cards to collect, 144 puzzle cards(making 16 larger pictures)
There are Inserts available;  30 Focus, 9 Baseball 101, 12 Hall of fame, 10 When I was Young and 30 Stickers.
There are 5 different 'Feel Real' relic cards linked to no specific player.
There are random tattoos and eye black too
